About MTI

Advancing Mississippi's Transportation Future

The purpose of MTI is to promote cooperation, interaction, education, research, safety, and the sharing of knowledge between government, quasi-public, and private sector entities regarding all modes of transportation in the State of Mississippi.

Each year, the MTI Conference brings together transportation professionals, engineers, planners, and policymakers for four days of presentations, networking, and collaboration at one of the Gulf Coast's premier resort destinations.

Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith has been a strong advocate for Mississippi's transportation infrastructure throughout her tenure in the U.S. Senate. She currently chairs the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, giving her a leading role in shaping federal transportation funding and policy.
