Safe Drivers

YOU matter.

Respect and stand up for yourself. Rise above peer pressure and/or the fear of what others might think. If you are in a situation that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, say something! Riding with your best friend and she’s texting and driving? Say something! Driving your car and your passengers are distracting you? Speak up! Take responsibility for your safety. Don’t just sit back quietly and convince yourself everything will be fine. Lives can be forever changed in an instant. Don’t let others push you into silence. If you’re uncomfortable, speak up for yourself or change your circumstances - find another ride, or ask your friends to find another ride.

Every teen that acts as a role model can help create a positive change. Leading by example rubs off on others and helps break the tired stereotype of teens being reckless, careless drivers.
