Welcome to MDOT’s Proposed Projects site. This site contains three main sections as described below:

The Schedule of Proposed Projects is a listing of projects from MDOT's project planning system. This listing only contains projects for which MDOT is directly responsible and does not include LPA and State Aid projects.

The Proposed Letting is a listing of projects scheduled to be let to contract in the next twelve months. These types of projects include pavement preservation and rehabilitation, bridge replacement and rehabilitation, safety and operational improvements.

The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is MDOT’s complete listing of planned transportation improvements for our state during the next four years which is approved by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA). This plan includes state funded projects of regional significance as well as all Federally funded projects for which MDOT is directly responsible and those that are done by Local Public Agencies (LPA) and State Aid.
